Colin + Lindsay

Man, it was an absolute pleasure/honor/privilege to photograph this beautiful wedding of these two wonderful people. Colin and my husband Brett are childhood best friends, so I've gotten to know Colin a bit over the years. He is so kind, and makes you feel at ease. He's extremely talented at all of his endeavors, and found the sweetest partner in Lindsay. She is wonderful. Bubbly, funny, full of zest and sweetness. Not to mention the fact that they are both actors/models. Talk about making my job easy. I would start to direct them, and they were already standing in a beautiful pose looking amazing. (insert clapping emoji here) My favorite thing of all though, was their absolute giddiness and playfulness with each other. They are so connected in and love, and it comes through so clearly.

Being married to the officiant has it's perks, so I'd like to share one of my favorite parts from the ceremony:

Brett (officiant): "And through it all, your love for one another has grown deeper and deeper. In fact, Colin, I asked you to share the reasons you love Lindsay and this is what you said:

You love Lindsay’s compassion for others, the way that she sees the good in people and gives them their humanity. You love Lindsay for her courage and her desire to help others, her willingness to jump into the unknown. You love her joyfulness and fullness of life, the zeal that she exudes when explaining something she's passionate about. Finally, you said you love Lindsay because of her love for God and love for her family.

Lindsay, I also asked you to share the reasons you love Colin, and you said: You love Colin because he is your best friend. He’s the first person you want share adventures with and the first person you want to see when you’re down. He pushes you to be better and he is one of the most driven people you know. And yet, he’s also one of the most patient people you know. You said he makes you laugh and smile and doesn’t judge you when you sing in weird voices—he even JOINS IN! You also said you love that he doesn’t judge you when I consume a large popcorn at the movie theatre and then eat some of his. You said Colin is the best person for me - And even though he could have had anyone he chose you."

Cue all the chills and tears.

Congrats you two. I wish all the joy and happiness life can bring!
