I loved this wedding so much. Definitely one of my favorite weddings to be a part of. It was an unusually warm January 30th. The light was great, the venue was amazing, but most of all, Robbie and Caitlin were (are) awesome. The day had a sense of ease, and so did they.
One of my favorites parts of weddings is the "First Look." It's such a special, intimate moment, and always relieves any wedding day jitters or stress. Robbie and Caitlin's was no exception. It was sweet, sincere, and just lovely.
The ceremony was full of of love, the gospel, special family prayers, and a time of communion for the bridal party. The reception was a blast, and the guests could have dance for hours.
My favorite part of all was the way Robbie and Caitlin looked at each other throughout the day. They are one of the most genuine couples you'll meet, and their love for one another is ever apparent. I was so honored to capture their day.
Another plus was getting to have an old friend, Mason Drumm, second shoot for me. He is a crazy talented drummer and photographer. He captured amazing cinemagraphs, which you can find on my instagram: lauravanderzee
